Gossip: Updates on Mad Haus, Jamie Bradley and Hackmatack Playhouse Jeanné McCartin Mad Haus series in its final year There's big news for Mad Haus fans, the show referred to as a "performance Portmanteau" by its producers at Seacoast Repertory Theatre. The wildly popular, original, multi-art, episodic story, conceptualized by The Mad Men of Oopsy Daisy Inc! (the theater's Co-Artistic Directors Brandon James and Ben Hart), and created with the aid of the project's tribe, is in its final, full year. Yes. That's correct. Mad Haus will conclude its serial run at the end of 2021, after six-years on stage. "Of course, there's a sadness. ... But look at any serial stories, or great TV shows. The ones that hold on and don't leave when they're at their peak, they just peter out, and that's kind of a tragedy," James says. "We want to leave on a high note, leaving people wanting ... rather than leave when people are tired of it."
