Govt urged to facilitate development of Gwadar ABAD chairman says construction package will steer country towards growth Builders have appreciated the present government for allotting construction sector the status of an industry keeping in view the importance of this sector. Addressing an event on Thursday, Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) Chairman Fayyaz Ilyas lamented that development of the construction sector had been ignored for more than the past five decades. He said that the comprehensive construction package, announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan, will help steer the country towards economic development. Also speaking on the occasion, ABAD former chairman Mohsin Sheikhani urged the government to introduce business friendly policies at the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) and other similar departments for economic growth of Pakistan.
