WDIO Created: May 13, 2021 06:54 AM A celebration and groundbreaking for a project that will further early childhood education in Hibbing. And the littlest learners were the ones in the front with the golden shovels. Washington Elementary is getting a 32,000 square foot addition. It will be used for both Head Start and Early Childhood programs, which right now are located separately on multiple sites. BJ Berg, principal at Washington, said it was a project that started with schemes and dreams, and is now becoming a reality. "Our youngest learners are breaking ground on a modern and much needed facility, adjacent to the Washington School."
