Grossmont College gets nod for inclusion, diversity


EL CAJON — 
For the second consecutive year, Grossmont College has been recognized as one of the best schools for minorities, listed as one of the top 100 in the nation by a news magazine that covers access and opportunity in higher education.
Diverse: Issues In Higher Education recognized Grossmont in several categories that look at schools that award associate degrees. The magazine released its annual rankings this month.
This year’s Top 100 list examined national data from the 2018-19 academic year, the most recent year available, according to Grossmont officials. The rankings were assigned based on the number of minority students who received degrees.
