Article content Ground has officially broken on the 40 th Ave. partial interchange in Airdrie after a ceremony including City council, administration and MLAs Angela Pitt and Ric McIver commemorated the start of development on Wednesday, Apr. 28. The $83-million project will see a new overpass and three new bridges on the south end of Airdrie, crossing over Main Street, the CP Rail, Nose Creek and the QEII Highway, and connecting 40 th Ave. to Sharp Hill Way SE.
