While there is hope that the situation will be better in a few months, the GSMA today announced a number of measures that will be taken in order to ensure that participants at MWC will be able to stay safe during the event. The plan is called Committed Community, and the GSMA says it's a "multi-layered" plan, with measures spanning different aspects of the event. For starters, participants will use the My MWC smartphone app to enter the event, instead of carrying the typical physical badge. The app will allow participants to enter once they've been tested for COVID-19, and it will remind them to get tested again within 72 hours.
