Guatemalan Economy Grows at the Beginning of 2021 During January of this year, the Monthly Index of Economic Activity reported a 3.2% increase compared to the level reported in the same month of 2020. Such result was mainly influenced by the growth in the activities of: Trade and repair of vehicles; Agriculture, livestock, forestry and fishing; Manufacturing industries; Real estate activities; Information and communications; and, Human health care and social assistance activities.
