Guinea pigs lucky to be alive after being dumped in Bromsgrove

TWO guinea pigs are lucky to be alive after they were found dumped in a cage in a remote Bromsgrove spot
The pets were discovered by a runner as she passed the Hurcott Pool and Wood car park, off Hurcott Road.
The female guinea pigs were found in a cage which was about a metre long but here was no food or water inside. One of them had a burst abscess on her rear end.
Both are now in the care of the RSPCA at Gonsal Farm Animal Centre in Shropshire and are recovering well from their ordeal. Once they have recuperated they will be found a forever home.
