(ABC 6 News) -- People across the globe will begin celebrating Hanukkah at sundown on Thursday, December 10. This year, the Chabad of Southern Minnesota is holding a 'Chanukah Extravaganza' car parade on Monday night to celebrate the holiday.
Normally, the extravaganza would be held inside with more activities and socializing, but due to the pandemic, the Chabad is holding the parade instead to keep everyone safe.
The parade will begin Monday at 6 p.m. at the Olmsted County Government Center, and everyone will receive donuts and latkes from their car. This event is just one of the ways the Chabad is celebrating Hanukkah during the pandemic.
