WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — A Lake County judge on Tuesday denied Indiana's motion to dismiss a lawsuit by West Lafayette Community School Corporation and two other school districts.
As News 18 previously reported, the lawsuit challenges a state law requiring public school corporations to lease unused school buildings to charter schools for $1.
The school corporation is worried the former Happy Hollow Elementary School could be leased under the law.
