Harrison County School District preparing for first day July 27, 2021 th and will reopen on August 6 th. There will be no registration on the first day of school. This year students will return to their traditional classroom settings. Callie Cook, a new teacher at Three Rivers Elementary, spent the last week preparing her classroom, getting ready to welcome students back on campus. “I know a lot of kindergartners, all they know is the pandemic school.” She worked in the school system last year and saw first hand how the pandemic school year posed a few challenges for students. “I know that with dedication we can get the students that were falling behind due to not being in a classroom, we can get them back on track.”
