Health Secretary Matt Hancock has praised clinical commissioning groups in Harrow for achieving one of the highest Covid-19 vaccinations uptakes in the country. According to the health secretary, over 80 per cent of people aged 80 and over and in care homes, have now received a Covid vaccination jab. In separate letters addressed to Harrow East MP Bob Blackman and Harrow West MP Gareth Thomas, Mr Hancock said Harrow has “led the way” on how to achieve vaccination targets in a “very diverse” population. Mr Hancock wrote: “I am delighted to inform you that Harrow was one of the highest performing Covid vaccination teams in the country.
