HC refuses to entertain writ petition seeking ‘comprehensive plan to prevent Covid-19’ Star Digital Report Star Digital Report A High Court bench today refused to entertain a writ petition that sought its directive on the government to formulate comprehensive national short, mid- and long-term plan in order to prevent spread of Covid-19 and to vaccinate all vulnerable citizens -- irrespective of age. The bench of Justice M Enayetur Rahim and Justice Sardar Md Rashed Jahangir told the petitioners that no such emergency situation has been created in the country at this moment that this court should pass an order. "The government has been trying its best to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic and is now trying to bring Covid-19 vaccine from more than three countries. If we make any interference in this situation, a panic might be created in society," Justice Enayetur Rahim said.
