Henderson County Public Schools grades 6-12 students now have the option to return to in-person learning beginning March 23. The Board of Education Friday approved 6-1, with member Dot Case voting no, for plan A, or full-time in-person learning, to be an option for grades 6-12. Parents and guardians will still have the option for their children to attend school remotely. Students in grades 6-12 who attend remotely will be transitioned back to a 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. school day schedule. Families are asked to confirm with their schools by March 17 whether their child will be attending school in person or remotely.
