Heartbreak Tree: An Evening with Pauletta Hansel Launch party for Pauletta Hansel’s Heartbreak Tree, a poetic exploration of the intersection of gender and place in Appalachia. Heartbreak Tree is “the breakout work of a lifetime, a work of breaking silences and ancestral truth telling.” Pauletta Hansel was Cincinnati’s first Poet Laureate and is the 2022 Writer-in-Residence for The Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, event co-sponsor. The book will be available for sale & signing at the in-person event; virtual attendance via Crowdcast is also available. The evening is free and open to the public. Registration required.
