SNOW that fell overnight in Worcestershire saw residents waking up to travel disruption throughout the county this morning. Roads were closed across Worcestershire, including the A38 from Martin Hussingtree to the Copcut, which was blocked due to lorries being stuck, as well as Hindlip Lane which was closed following the snowfall on Sunday night. A crash also closed two lanes on the M5 southbound between J5 Droitwich and J6 Worcester this afternoon, which reopened later in the day, and First Bus confirmed service 35 was unable to operate, while many other services faced delays. Today's scheduled bin collections in Worcester were also postponed after the snowfall made it unsafe for the city council’s waste collection vehicles to go out.
