Two of Hawaii’s most important government watchdog agencies are looking for new blood. The Judicial Council is advertising for applicants to fill expected vacancies on the Hawaii State Ethics Commission and Campaign Spending Commission. Terms on each commission are for four years and members serve voluntarily. But neighbor island members attending Oahu meetings will have travel expenses covered. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and residents of the state and may not hold any other public office.
