Some of the first plans for residential development on the former Valley Green Golf & Country Club in Hempfield will be put in front of township supervisors Monday. If passed, the plans would grant conditional approval for the Valley Green subdivision for the purpose of a residential plan consisting of 63 lots along Valley Green Road. The motion would be contingent on conditions of approval including site distances for lots on the bend of the road, approval from the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County and the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, providing construction drawings for improvements to Valley Green Road and showing stormwater and utility easements.
