Henry sheriff 'leads from the front' with COVID-19 vaccine :

McDONOUGH — Henry County Sheriff Reginald Scandrett received his first COVID-19 vaccine Tuesday morning at Southern Grace Hospice.
Scandrett said that by demonstrating his willingness to be inoculated, he hopes it encourages others in the Sheriff’s Office to also be vaccinated.
Scandrett is one of several law enforcement personnel in the county to “lead from the front” by showing others the importance of being vaccinated.
In December, Henry County Police Chief Mark Amerman, Don Ash, director of Henry County Emergency Management, Rodney Wiggins, Fire Department deputy chief, and Mike Ireland, Henry County Police deputy chief, joined hundreds of first responders and health care workers to get their first dose against COVID-19 at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
