Here's how pink-ball Test match is different from red-ball Test match

Ahmedabad’s new Motera Cricket Stadium, the largest cricket stadium in the world, is all set to host its first international match today – a pink-ball Test. Although India played its first-ever pink-ball Test in November 2019 against Bangladesh in Eden Gardens, a lot of people still do not know what makes a pink-ball Test different from a red-ball one.
As the name itself suggests, the pink-ball Test is played with a pink ball, while the red-ball Test is played with a red ball. The pink-ball Test is played under floodlights, which is why you cannot use a red ball. The pink ball will be visible under the floodlights, but a red ball will turn brownish and will become difficult to spot.
