(WBTV) - A winter storm is moving through the WBTV viewing area. Schools have changed learning plans and businesses have closed as areas see snowfall and wintry weather. Friday 7 p.m. Snow will taper off early tonight, with overnight low temperatures cooling into the 20s by Saturday morning. Concerns for icy roads will mainly be confined to the NC mountains and foothills, yet some icy spots will be possible across the piedmont. Some patchy freezing fog may develop as well.
