On screen: vital lesson in combating anxiety, depression and other issues IF a friend says you’re fine – are you really? A second ‘are you sure?’ can make all the difference, as UTC Heathrow students in Northwood have been finding out. During Mental Health Awareness Week (May 10-15), the college has been encouraging students to ‘Ask Twice’, a message promoted by the Time to Change mental health campaign. It recognises that many people experience problems, like anxiety or feeling low. Simply asking a friend if they’re OK, followed up with a ‘are you sure?’, can be a vital lifeline to someone who is suffering.
