Bronx County Courthouse | Wikipedia NEW YORK (Legal Newsline) - The City of New York and multiple other defendants are facing civil charges from a Bronx man who says he was wrongfully stopped, questioned, searched, arrested and detained by the NYPD in 2015. In a lawsuit filed on Feb. 15, Ramon Hernandez alleged that his civil rights under the New York and U.S. constitutions were violated when he was stopped by a group of officers while walking down the street in the Bronx just after 3 a.m. on Feb. 5, 2015. The suit says that 10 officers ordered Hernandez to stop walking and aggressively placed the plaintiff under arrest without explanation.
