The compensation is generous, your lease is topped up to 99-years again, and you have a whole list of replacement units to choose from. But only a tiny minority of HDB estates are likely to see a SERS exercise, and the odds aren’t high. This week, we talked to J, a Singaporean who timed his HDB purchase just right and reaped the best benefits of SERS.
