Holland bakery Meli's Sweet Treats welcomes spring with sweet treats
HOLLAND — Spring has sprung, and Melissa Wiseman is ready for it.
Wiseman is the owner of Meli's Sweet Treats, a home-based bakery in Holland. She launched the business in 2018, and is best known for her cookies, cupcakes, chocolate-covered treats, stuffed donuts and cakes.
"Baking is something I've been interested in doing since I was little," Wiseman said. "I used to bake cakes with my mom. As I grew up, I didn't think I'd be able to make a career from it. But then I saw a commercial for culinary school and I had this realization. I decided to go."
