Hopkinton to return to in-person classes by May, perhaps sooner Hopkinton High School Monitor file Published: 3/15/2021 4:28:26 PM Hopkinton School District plans to reopen fully five days a week by May 3 for any student who wants in-person learning – and maybe even earlier, if they can swing it. School Board chairman Jim O’Brien announced the change at the first info session for the district’s annual meeting, held Saturday via Zoom. A group of parents in town had been pushing for schools to fully reopen. “If we can move faster, we will,” O’Brien said. “We feel that this is the right approach and the right timeline, provides staff and families the time to prepare, and allows our students to be back in the classroom full-time to reconnect and complete the school year.”
