Horse race track applies to build in North Platte by: The North Platte Bulletin - Jul. 26, 2021 Top News An application to build a horse racetrack south of I-80 will be considered by the North Platte planning and zoning commission Tuesday evening. The racetrack would be located near the intersection of East Walker Road and Victoria Lane in a light industrial zone. It is east of Iron Horse Park Lake on the south side of I-80. It would be about a mile east of U.S. Highway 83. The company is called Prospect Enterprises, LLC, located in Hastings. It is affiliated with Hastings Exposition and Racing, Inc.
