Not because I shop there much or even because I think the brand is particularly well-designed these days. And certainly not out of concern for Sir Philip Green. No, I felt relieved because the Topshop of my teenage and student years was an exciting, forward-thinking store - and there is at least now a chance that the new owners will restore some of the creativity and cool-factor it has lost in recent years.
