How the pandemic forced Nalcor to pay nearly $1M for a Muskrat contractor

Nalcor Energy paid nearly $1 million last year for the services of a single member of the project delivery team at Muskrat Falls, surpassing the annual earnings of CEO Stan Marshall, CBC News has learned.
An access-to-information request for the earnings of the 21 most senior members of the team has revealed that Edmonton-based professional services company Stantec Inc. was paid just under $865,000 in 2020 for the services of one of its employees, Donald Phillips.
