Young dancers are invited to events to find out more about a prestigious North West training scheme. On Saturday, dancers aged 11 to 16 and their families can attend Newbiggin Hall in Carlisle or the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal to find out more about The Lowry’s Centre for Advanced Training in Dance. Attendees will be able to speak to tutors and students from the scheme – which offers fully funded places – and also take part in a workshop. Young people who decide they would like to try out for a place on the scheme, which is the only one in the North West, can pick up an application form, ahead of auditions on Sunday June 27.
