HRCU sponsors Banzai for elementary schools Staff Report ROCHESTER — HRCU is bringing financial literacy education to more than 1,500 elementary students in the Rochester and Strafford school districts. Students at 8 Rochester elementary schools and 1 Strafford elementary school will now have free access to Banzai, an award-winning online program and content library that allows students to practice real-world finance using any internet-enabled device. Through the Banzai online courses, students try out managing a budget, saving for a goal, and dealing with unexpected financial pitfalls. Teachers can easily monitor and grade student progress in the classroom or remotely. “Sponsoring Banzai for the elementary school provides teachers and parents with a tool that can help teach their students and children important financial lessons,” said Brian Hughes, President & CEO of HRCU. “We truly care about the financial wellness of those in our community and hope they will find these resources helpful.”
