Apr 18, 2021 42 year old Michael Howard and 28 year old Bria Marie Nicole Register have been arrested and charged with felony murder in theSaturday morning shooting of 17 year old Javier Cordova. According to police, Cordoav was shot after an argument broke out at a late-night cookout in the Coastal Crest Suites apartments at3108 Cypress Mill Road. Police responded to a gunfire report about2:15 Saturday morningand found Cordova lying, unresponsive beside Cypress Mill Road and Golden Isles Parkway with what appeared initially to be a head laceration. It was then discovered that the victim also had a gunshot wound in the upper torso.
