st. augustine. what was it like for you and your team there when that storm was bearing down? >> reporter: yeah, well, our team, elwin and jose and i, we followed this storm from jamaica. we were down there, of course, it went from the east in jamaica, the effects, not so great in miami. then went up to melbourne, and when we were there we did get the punch of it. and we spent all last night in absolute howling winds and rain. and it was quite an experience, i'll tell you. it was fairly savage when the hurricane force winds just built up over and over. and eventually it really did wollop the place. but fortunately, not a lot of damage, but wind, and right now the wind stopped here in st. augustine. and of course brian todd is getting hit in places like savannah and hilton head, george.
