austan goolsbee joins the council of economic advisers. good to see you. the private sector adding jobs. that's great, we want private sector over government jobs. as enthusiastic as i like to be, as optimistic as i like to be, 103,000 jobs created in december isn't enough to get us on that road to robust recovery. what's your take? >> well, i think you're being a little unfair. it was 103,000, both last month and the job month's before got revised up by a combined 60 plus thousand. for 2010 we added 133 million in private sector jobs. that's the most in four years. as you know and as we've talked about many times before, any one month is very volatile. what's better than using any one month is taking a short average. if you take the fourth quarter, the last three months of the year, that's the best quarter in
