now to some new developments. talking about the hunt for two convicted killers. some really bad guys on the run right now. now they have been on the run for three days. >> richard matt and david sweat, take a look here, they pulled off a sophisticated plan, power tools and insider's knowledge of the prison building itself. now abc news learned investigators have interviewed that woman who worked there. abc's marci gonzalez has the latest from upstate new york. good morning, marci. >> reporter: good morning to you. investigators have developed over 300 leads and are looking into each including one from a couple possible witnesses. face to face with the escaped inmates. >> lucky to be alive, man. they could have done anything. >> reporter: neighbors who live a block from the maximum security prison in upstate new york telling abc news they may have been the first to see david sweat and richard matt after they made their prison break. spotting the convicted killers dressed in jeans walking in their backyard around 12:30 saturday morning. >> i ask them what the hell are you doing in my yard? get the hell out of here.
