The Indian Coast Guard ship Samudra Paheredar, a specialized Pollution Control Vessel, has arrived in Manila, Philippines, starting its overseas deployment mission to ASEAN countries. With 25 National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets on board, it aims to expand the reach of the Puneet Sagar Abhiyan internationally. This deployment, from March 25 to April 12, is focused on enhancing cooperation, interoperability, and demonstrating India's capabilities in marine pollution response to ASEAN nations.
