The Ministry of Culture has embarked on documenting Saudi sites where Arab poets of the pre-Islamic era lived or were associated with throughout history, and making access to them easy by installing guiding signs. The project is part of the "Year of Arabic Poetry" initiative; it is carried out in cooperation with the ministries of culture, municipal and rural affairs, and transport, as well as with the municipalities of the designated areas.
