In 1893, members of the Naja Shriners established this fraternity organization in Western South Dakota with a platform to connect and help the local communities in any way they could. What started as a fraternity organization quickly grew into a philanthropy rooted in providing help to families and including children’s services. Now, it is one of the largest pediatric specialty healthcare organizations in the country. Steve Hendrickson and Dr. Dave Evans, Shriner members stopped by to announce the organization’s next screening children’s clinic on Wednesday, April 5th at 4091 Sturgis Rd in Rapid City between the hours of 9 am and 3:30 pm.
