Published Tuesday, June 15, 2021 3:34PM EDT TORONTO - Canadian photographer Edward Burtynsky, filmmaker Director X and theatre artist Christine Brubaker are among the artists set to present original works at the Luminato Festival Toronto this fall. The three will headline the annual arts and culture event, which will feature free film and digital experiences and a drive-in concert Oct. 13 to 17. The not-for-profit organization says a summer digital program runs June 23 to Aug. 1 with audio tours, podcasts and an augmented reality scavenger hunt. Luminato will announce details on where to find the programming throughout the summer. Originally slated for June, the festival's 15th edition was postponed to October due to provincial COVID-19 restrictions, which forced last year's event to be held virtually.
