(KAIT) - A storm system arrived Sunday afternoon in Region 8, bringing heavy rains and winds in the area. According to Entergy Arkansas, nearly 1,400 customers are without power as of 6 p.m. Sunday due to the weather. About 300 customers in Jackson County, 150 customers in Poinsett County, 115 customers in Crittenden County, 60 customers in Independence County and 50 customers in Lawrence County are among the customers without power.
