Bismarck State College is well-known in the capital city for its many athletic programs -- including basketball, baseball, volleyball, and even online gaming. However, what many may not know is that BSC, like many other colleges in the Great Plains area, once had a team to engage in the Western tradition. Although it has since faded from the athletics roster in recent years, a recent development promises to bring the beloved sport back to the college, all thanks to a combination of interest from athletes and figures around our community.
