Couch in the middle of I-95? Police say dangerous debris not that uncommon

It’s not an uncommon occurrence to see debris in the middle of the road -- but it’s not every day a couch is spotted in the center lanes of Interstate 95 in Providence.
“We’re actually not sure where it came from,” Sgt. Erik Yanyar of the Rhode Island State Police told NBC 10 News during a brief phone interview Thursday. “Obviously, we think it came off the back of a truck or something like that and landed in the middle of the highway.”
