Feb 8, 2021 UP: To Lacey Cale at Emerson Elementary School, Edna Ruth Patrick at Madison Elementary School, Deanna Cunningham at Kenna Elementary School in Jackson County and Lori Franks at Tyler Consolidated High School, for being among the recipients of the 2021 STEM-Minded Educator Grants. The awards of up to $1,000 are meant for materials or technology that can be used either in the classroom or in students’ homes. As the coronavirus pandemic has put us on the fast-track for educational adaptability, these teachers have shown they are ready to give our kids the tools they’ll need to live in the world that awaits them.
