Husted visits Terra State, leads discussion on in-demand broadband jobs
Anthony Weisenberger will soon enter that field.
A Terra State Community College student from Norwalk, Weisenberger spoke with Lt. Gov. Jon Husted on Thursday about his pathway through the college into the utility construction installer field.
Weisenberger has always had an interest in electricity.
He's one of three students in Terra State's utility construction installer certificate program, a number the college hopes to grow to 24 in the near future.
"They make a lot more money in this utility field," Weisenberger said after speaking briefly with Husted.
