Hybrid learning: What would it really look like in Las Cruces?

LAS CRUCES - Hybrid learning has been a point of discussion since the summer after school buildings across New Mexico closed down in March to mitigate the spread of the SARS CoV-2 coronavirus, which causes the COVID-19 disease.
But what would hybrid learning look like in Las Cruces Public Schools?
On Tuesday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced that all districts will be permitted to return to in-person hybrid learning on Feb. 8, regardless of what color the county is on the "Red-to-Green" framework, which measures the per-capita daily incidence of new COVID-19 cases per 100,000 residents and the average COVID-19 test positivity within county borders. Doña Ana County has not been "green" since September.
