The Executive Unit for the Management of IDPs Camps has called on the “international humanitarian” organizations to help save the lives of 14,413 IDPs who have been re-displaced by the Houthi militants waging a war to overrun the government-held Marib province. The Unit said in a monthly statement, “The continuous rocket and cannon shelling on IDPS camps in the province [of Marib] has forced 14,413 people (2059 families) to move from their IDPs camps in Serwah, Raghwan, and Bani Dhabyan from 7-28 February to the southern side of Serwah district and toward Marib city center.” The Unit said the IDPs today lack some of the “minimum facilities for day-today living.”
