Associate Professor Margie Danchin has been recognised for her incredible work across the health sector during the COVID-19 pandemic last year.
Associate Professor Danchin was one of four winners of a 2021 BioMelbourne Network Women in Leadership Award announced today by Victorian Parliamentary Secretary for Jobs, MP Jane Garrett.
She received the Directors Award for leadership, impact and inspiring others amid the pandemic which included:
Leading a research program around vaccine uptake, focussing on education, communication and building vaccine confidence. The initiative has engaged with different priority and community groups via a series of virtual ‘Town Halls’ as well as the government at state and national level
