Intel hits 5GHz in new Core i7 U-series processor, offers it

Intel has announced two new processors to its Core U-series lineup destined for thin and light Ultrabooks. The new chips boost clock rates to new highs offering the fast CPU and GPU performance yet for its 'Tiger Lake' chips. Intel also announced a new 5G modem solution for OEM partners to bring to new laptops later this year.
