Intelligence as a service the future for Dell, company says SHARE Artificial intelligence, machine learning and augmented reality are being made an integral part of Dell Technologies Inc.’s tech service offerings. The intelligence-as-a-service products, which include support, deployment, education, consulting and others will be delivered through cloud infrastructure. “Over the next five to 10 years, we predict that all devices will be able to communicate anywhere on earth,” said Doug Schmitt (pictured, right), president of Dell Technologies Services. That, plus an estimate that 30% of the 175 zettabytes of data created worldwide by 2025 will be processed in real time is among the reasons Dell is preparing its support tools. Billions of endpoints will be supplying intelligence, according to Schmitt.
