The MP’s comments came after the May Budget’s release on Tuesday, with $172m set aside for new infrastructure projects across the Fisher and Fairfax electorates. The bulk of the funds will go to the Mooloolah River Interchange with $160m allocated with $7m to the Caloundra Transport Corridor Upgrade. There was no money made available for upgrading Sunshine Coast Stadium which has drawn criticism from the community and Sunshine Coast Council.
